Jason Bradley – Crown Roofing & Drainage
Jason is not only the boss, he is also the Sales Manager. But he is Sales Manager extraordinaire as well!! Similar to Chris, Jason wears many hats for the company. He works many, many hours and is ridiculous efficient and productive. Doesn’t matter what he does, he always produces results. He is like a robot, he says he going out to sell this many jobs, he comes back with that many jobs and in less time than he allowed himself! Among all the hours and work he puts into the company, he still makes time for staff and their problems. He listens and offers help! Without his efforts and his results most of us would be without a job today. He works so hard to make sure there is production hence work for everyone in every department. Above all this he makes sure everyone is happy and content.
Tim Brown Sr. – Rain Gutter Specialties
He does it all. As this year was tough for all, he dug in his pocket to ensure that his employees were taken care of. He did what it took so the guys were handled and their families were taken care of.
He works on a daily basis with the crews, not from a desk but with a pouch on. He teaches the guys and works everyday with them. He manages well so that the company is still run to allow him to work with the guys.
Every morning he is with the crews playing and joking with them. He really has all of the respect and they will jump through walls for him. It has been said on numerous occasions that he is not only their boss but a best friend and father. He truly cares about each guy and wants the best for them. He puts them first before his own wants and desires.
He also leads by example. There isn’t a man in the company that can out work him, even though he has 30 years on them.
He is the ultimate boss. He keeps it light and keeps us happy.
Tim Brown Sr. and Jr. – Rain Gutter Specialties
There are no grand words, grand accomplishments, or specific moments that I can attribute to a reason for nominating the Browns for this award other than this: They care tremendously for every employee of this company.
Our company, like many others, has experienced a good deal of turmoil these last few years, where everything pointed to layoffs, payroll cuts, and potentially closing the doors. The Browns have shown a tremendous commitment to preserving the level of service to our customer’s, the quality of our work environment, and most importantly, the quality of life of their employees. I have always felt, and continue to feel they value every employee of this company and, more importantly, are committed to insuring that at the end of the day each one of us is able to take care of our families and put food on the table. It is a pleasure to work for a company that has the needs of their employees as high on their list as the needs of their own.
Juan C Garcia – Century Building Restoration USA
Juan has determined to concrete his vision, mission, and core values. At his young age he has taken Century from only a restoration company into a roofing, underground utilities , interior , exterior all general construction work, government ,as well as residential and commercial. And all this not presenting Century as just another GC, but as a Business build on SAFETY, Integrity, and Ethical Conduct. He is a man that likes to visit the job-sites, loves to hear from his employees and is always trying to supply us, the team, with the best tools so we can succeed in our daily tasks.Mmany times he has believed in us more than we have believed in ourselves, and that’s why I call him the BEST BOSS OF THE YEAR.
Frank Istueta – Istueta Roofing
Frank has worked even harder than ever to be the Best Boss. He has motivated his employee’s non-stop to reach their top potential. He is always striving to improve the company, as well as his employees. Frank never loses sight of the fact that people are our most important resource and he treats everyone so warmly and kindly.
Frank takes care of his workmanship, paperwork and oversees every aspect of the business. Customers love to talk to him, his pleasant nature and humor attracts customers like a magnet.
He is very focused and driven by the CCN process. Frank encourages his employees to attend seminars and workshops to help them grow in the company and in their personal life.
Because of Frank’s great leadership, we have a great team of employees who are willing to get the job done.
Carlos Rodriguez – Mr. Roofing
We would like to nominate Carlos as best boss of the year. He is well respected and admired by his employees. He is a great example of great leadership and inspiration.
Carlos is very approachable and is always ready to listen. He treats his employees like family. Carlos is very understanding to everyone’s personal situation. He does a great job in promoting a positive hard working environment.
Scott Siegal – Maggio Roofing
I really think Scott is a great boss, with such a huge capacity to multitask and at the same time to be creative and to seek the best for his companies and employees. He is knowledgeable and is always learning and searching for new ways of doing things not only for his own benefit but to make things easier and smoother for his employees and CCN members. Despite he keeps so busy, Scott will always have time to serve you with good mood.
