2011 Project Manager Nominations
David Flores- Rogers Roofing
There are some jobs that other Project Managers may look at in my company and say I hope I don’t have to do that job. Not Dave Flores. He has tackled the most challenging jobs I have ever seen and has completed them to perfection. Nominated by John Rogers
He is a man of detail and knows what it takes to make the customer happy. Never one to look for a compliment, this is my way of telling Dave that he does a great job day in and day out and we truly appreciate him and his talents. Nominated by Ed Rogers
Edgar Hernandez – Rain Gutter Specialties
There is no better feeling as a Production Manager than to know that no matter how complicated or how unique a job is, your Project Manager will get it done and get it done right. Edgar is that guy for me. Edgar understands what it is to be a team player and is always willing to take on any job I give him. Edgar is great with the customers and always goes the extra mile when necessary. I never have to ask Edgar to work late or weekends. He does it on his own. We always joke that we wish we could clone Edgar but the truth is, there is only one Edgar Hernandez and we are truly fortunate to have him on our team. Nominated by Ross Fisher.
Edgar is our go to guy. Anytime we have a tough job Edgar gets it. He never complains and just simply works. He is the first one at the office everyday and the last one to leave the job. His customers absolutely love him and praise his quality as well as his customer service. Edgar also is our custom guy. He is given all the special projects that need the extra care. He does this with perfection.
For this and much more Edgar deserves this award. Nominated by Tim Brown
Edgar is the type of employee every company longs to have, and absolutely clings to keep once you find him. I am continually surprised by the level of commitment Edgar has for the well being of not only the projects he oversees, but in following up with our sales staff on large potential projects that he finds from previous contractors. He never fails to call the sales staff to clarify complicated jobs, and more importantly does a great job at problem solving difficult applications, and communicating those needs to the salesman and the customer. Nominated by Kurt Fisher
The best thing I can say about Edgar is that when I want a job done right, and without complications, He is the one I want assigned to the project.

He and his team consistently achieve “10′s” on the Homeowner Satisfaction Surveys that are returned. Izzy always makes us look good! Nominated by Clark Adams
Gustavo Lopez – Istueta Roofing
Gustavo is very deserving of this award. His honesty, loyalty and dedication are what separate Gustavo from others.
His ability to manage a crew and manage different projects at once is a huge asset to our company. He maintains accurate paperwork on all his projects. He travels from job to job and oversees the most important aspects of each job.
Gustavo makes sure that his jobsites are always orderly and well organized to avoid accidents. The trucks and equipment are always in superb shape. He has a job sign on every project; He understands the importance of a good company image.
With a positive attitude he resolves any problem with a smooth solution while expediting job completion and exceeding client expectations. Nominated by Frank Istueta

This project manager is part of why the company has made a great turn around, on keeping production at budget and he is a King on Change Orders. Nominated by Frances Soto
Antonio Moscoso – Maggio Roofing
Antonio has been promoted to Superintendent this year. Year after year Antonio shows up on all rain days to make sure to take care of any emergency work. He is the first one in on snow days to make sure the yard and office is shoveled out to work. He consistently runs multiple jobs. If there is a technical query or stubborn leak – he is the first one I call. I can always count on him to go and analyze any problems. He has the ability now to write even the most complicated change orders with tapers, drainage, and even mortar work.
He is very good with all our customers and can use the conflict resolution process to make an angry customer a customer who refers us to many. He is a real team leader. He not only keeps his two crews running, but is always helpful to the other crews making sure they can get their trash hauled out, will pick up materials for them and help with equipment. Nominated by Catherine Honigsberg
Chris Paine – Capizzi Home Improvement
Chris continues to be a role model project manager year after year. He produces and builds many of our larger and more complex projects, two of which have recently been nominated for the Eastern Regional NARI CotY Awards for 2011.
Chris not only produces projects with quality and management expertise, but most importantly creates raving fans out of each of our homeowners. Chris is the total package, leaving nothing for chance by delivering the most professional experience for us and our clients. For this, and much more, I believe Chris is most worthy of the CCN Project Manager of the Year in 2011. Thomas Capizzi, Jr.
Chris Pollack – Crown Roofing & Drainage
Chris has worked very hard this year. He is always available to pick up any pieces of the puzzle. He manages many jobs and many crews and yet he still manages to cover anyone who has to be away from work. He is the multi-tasker extrordinaire! And he does all this with a smile and has the energy to joke around. Nominated by My Lieu Ha
