Suzanne Carney – Maggio Roofing
I believe Suzanne has been overlooked for a long time for this award.  If anyone has an idea how much a company depends on their office manager to be the glue of the company, just think if they had to be that for two companies.  Without lessening the level of professionalism in Maggio Roofing, Suzanne has been a significant force in CCN.  Not only does Maggio implement major software and other changes each year, she has had to learn and reconfigure the software of CCN.  Being in production, a great deal of our customer service depends on appointments, bills paid on time, customers invoiced, all the unusual requests from homeowners regarding paying, invoicing etc.  No one ever has to wait for information to be loaded in our software for jobs, payments for change orders.  No matter what, even while she is on vacation, the information and office runs seamlessly and professionally. From the estimators, production and business end we are always up to date and accurate.

Suzanne is the kind of person that no matters how big the load of work is, she will organize herself, her time and will manage a way to finish everything on time plus she finds time to do all those “extras” that as Office Manager she is requested.  I think she deserves to win the Office Manager of the Year not only for her ability in managing the company’s issues but also her co-workers. Because of the way she cares about everybody, you can really feel you are working in a “family” environment.  She is that “key” piece in our office and when  somebody needs something the option usually is:  go to Suzanne!

Suzanne Carney deserves this award for several reasons not the least being the glue that holds everybody at Maggio Roofing together. Suzanne handles all billing and all aspects of the office. The increase in sales and the addition of solar has added greatly added to her work load. Suzanne still has the time to train a new employees and will help any of the employees that may have any questions. Suzanne then takes the time to make our company a “family” by organizing company events. Suzanne takes a great pride in her work and will not leave the office until her work is complete. Suzanne will come into the office on Saturdays to help with the phones and  really goes the extra mile.  I know one thing about Suzanne, all you have to ask her for a item and it will magically appear….we all depend on her!!

Suzanne Carney
Suzanne has been working double duty for awhile now.  She has run Maggio’s office for many years now and for the last year has run CCN’s as well.  Since this is so much work, we have been looking to find someone to come in and take over part of this workload.  In the meantime, Suzanne has been working 12-14 hour days to help run both companies.

Suzanne handles the bookkeeping for both companies, as well as, overseeing all office functions for Maggio Roofing.

Edgar Morales – Istueta Roofing
Edgar is the perfect candidate for the Office Manager of the Year award.  Of the many aspects in the office that he is in charge of one of them is the scheduling of appointments for our sales persons.  Edgar manages to maintain a smooth flow in this area which keeps our sales persons very pleased.

His easiest task is those occasional difficult customers where he is capable of assisting them with any problem without losing his composure.   He has a strong positive attitude and assists greatly in creating a team environment.

Edgar is a numbers guy, he is a top collector for payments and statements and invoices are done in a timely manner. He is responsible for tracking the lead from the measure call to the sales call result. He prepares accurate, relevant and timely financial information weekly for the sales meeting.

Edgar has attended the CCN seminars such as the business planning, sales boot camp and many others and  he implements his knowledge to make our staff productive and highly motivated.

Corrin Roach – Opal Enterprises
Corrin has given our customers the best possible communication and service, while learning how to screen incoming leads and qualify them for the sales department. She is also without question the “go to” person on Opal’s staff for answers regarding production scheduling.

Corrin JUST passed her 1-year anniversary with Opal Enterprises. She is the 2nd office manager hired on. (The first person hired had to be let go after a Pinnacle Group personality review was received)

Corrin Roach was persistent in obtaining the position with Opal Enterprises and she was my #1 gut-feeling girl! I am so pleased down to my toes that she chose Opal to work with! She has talent streaming from her mind and finger tips!

Corrin is first and foremost, my right-hand-woman because she is innovative and she implements her ideas within a short time frame. She is objective, patient and sincere. I was slightly embarrassed with the organized mess she hired on with…but between the two of us, the admin department has taken such nice form and shape. I can count on Corrin with the entire company!!

Never, ever have I felt that she is “just putting her hours in”…she works tirelessly in Opal’s interest and I know and understand the personal investment she has made for everyone here

Terri Rogers – Rogers Roofing by Ed Rogers
Terri is the consummate professional from dealing with the day to day office issues, she handles all incoming calls and requests for estimates to our office, she handles all insurance issues within the company, she fields questions daily from our customers. Because of her extensive knowledge of the roofing business she can answer most inquires in an intelligent and professional manner, handles all payroll issues not only for the company but for our employees,  whether its understanding their wages or their investment opportunities for our retirement plan. Over the last months additional duties have arisen as a result of personal changes and Terri just kept right on moving. She advises our president on matters within the company. She keeps our company moving constantly forward and always has a kind word for everyone, especially our customers. Every day there is a compliment about her professionalism and her caring. She is Office Manager of the year, and the key to our company.

Terry Rogers Nomination by John Rogers
There is a saying that any person can be replaced. I am here to say that our company would not be half the company that we are today without the guidance, wisdom and sometimes psychiatric guidance that Terry brings to our company. She helps with budgeting, marketing, accounting, human resources and pretty much anything that needs to be done.

But one of her greatest assets is her calming influence around the office when things are going a little crazy. As the owner of the company I cannot begin to say how much she means to all of us at Rogers Roofing. Without her presence over the last 19 years, my life and the companies success would be nothing to write about.
And if for some reason she is not chosen, I just want to say on behalf of all of us you don’t need a little statue to say that you are the office manager of the year, you are the office manager of the year every year in our book!

Lynne Wuelling, Lakeside Exteriors, Inc.
In September of 2004, Lynne gladly joined Lakeside Exteriors, Inc., as a part- time Office Manager. Her responsibilities include Accounts Payable/ Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Group Benefits and Human Resources, just to name a few.  Over the next few years, Lakeside doubled in size, which quickly made Lakeside aware that this position was much more than part time. Lynne proudly accepted the full-time challenge of assisting Matt and Dan Merrifield manage the company.

Lynne has helped implement just about every system that Lakeside has put into place.  She is the “go-to” person to make things happen.  Lynne has made many friends at Lakeside and considers helself to be the “Mom” of the office.  Matt and Dan know they do not have to worry much because Lynne is the expert in that field!  She can be counted on to complete every assignment given to her and has become a huge asset to Lakeside Exteriors.
