Nominations:
Roche Roofing
Nominated by Charlie Gindele
These folks have really embraced CCN and have taken advantage of many CCN training programs. Faustino has gotten his staff involved in working their business plan. He is always looking for ways to improve and sees CCN as a valued partner is his quest to build his company.
Nominated by Roche Roofing
We believe that Roche Roofing deserves the Rookie Company of the Year award for the following reasons:
1. Using CCN resources we have established an administration office with 4 staff members maintaining an average of 300 customer files a year, tracking of 24 employees and working with over 12 vendors at any given time.
2. We have 2 salesmen who have attended Sales Boot-camp and currently use the 4 P process. This has accounted for an increase of sales by 50%.
3. We have gained great knowledge and insight by attending CCN conferences and boot camps, such as the Business Planning session with Charlie Gindele. Establishing a business plan has allowed us to set goals and not only achieve them, but surpass them.
4. Using again all our resources from CCN to include one of CCN's members, Jim Scott of Castro Roofing, Roche Roofing has established a Safety/Training Program which was not in place prior to becoming a member of CCN.
Southwest Exteriors
Nominated by Southwest Exteriors
The 2007 Winter Conference in Orlando was a huge turning point for Southwest Exteriors in our goal to transform the company from good to great. It was then that we aggressively began to pursue the CCN model.
We began by training. In our rookie year we have sent our Design Consultants to Sales Boot Camp and our Project Managers to Blue Collar Management Boot Camp. I attended the Business Planning Boot Camps in March and November. This training broadened our knowledge and, more importantly, gave our team members innovative ways to improve on our success.
For example, we have implemented the 4P sales process and by doing so have increased our revenue by 20%. We are currently implementing the firewall process, a beat the budget pay plan for our crews and now hold monthly strategy meetings to help facilitate communication between all divisions.
For us this is just the beginning. Our company culture has wholeheartedly accepted and embraced the CCN Best Practices and will use them to take Southwest Exteriors to the next level.
Sugar Hill Building and Design
Since joining CCN last November, Sugar Hill Building and Design has completely revised and improved our business structure. We have gained a great deal from attending Business Planning Boot Camp, Sales Boot Camp and two CCN Conferences. Starting with Business Planning Boot camp, we created a business plan specifying sales and financial goals along with methods to accomplish these. Next, Mike participated in Sales Boot Camp, resulting in a complete change and improvement in our sales practices and procedures. Mike implemented the 4P process, creating a sales answer book and practices sales word tracks.
Another big change in our company since joining CCN is the revised office procedures supporting the sales process. We send confirmation letters for each appointment, enclosing the CCN booklet “Successful Construction Investement” and the Qualified Remodeler article on the reputation of remodelers. Feedback from our clients is that this creates a very professional impression and gets the sales meeting off to a great start.
Another large change since joining CCN is our marketing department. Over the last year, we have created a marketing system and have used ACT to track prospects and leads. We have also developed and posted a web site, SHBDremodel.com. Our most recent and exciting development is an emphasis in “Aging-in-Place” and home modifications for seniors. This has a created a new focus in our marketing and a more specialized and unique product to offer.
When we joined CCN last year, we were in the middle of a major transition from new construction to remodeling, and have in the past year developed a unique focus on “aging-in-place” home improvements. CCN has helped us through this transition and provided us with resources to improve the form and focus of our business, develop a completely new sales process and marketing system, and position our company for increased success.
