Jimmy is a testament to “you can do anything if you want”.  Two years ago, Jimmy was selling shoes at a discount shoe store in the hood!  He came to Fick Bros with literally no knowledge whatsoever of the roofing industry.    We hired him based on the recommendation of an existing Fick Bros employee and the belief that he posessed a positive attitude and a willingness to make a better life for his family.  Jimmy had a strong behavioral profile report from Pinnacle Group, and knowing that attitude is the key to success, we made the hire and are glad we did!

2007 has been an excellent year for Jimmy.  Jimmy goes out of his way to make sure that he always delivers the highest possible level of service to his customers.  The many complimentary letters we receive from his customers espousing his great command of the sales process and his technical knowledge confirm this.

This year, one of Jimmy’s goals was to increase his average contract value and to sell more profitable jobs.  This was not just a nice thing to say in a yearly review meeting but rather a true commitment to becoming a better salesperson.  Jimmy developed a plan to accomplish this mission and to date has crushed all the goals set.  He has increased his sales volume 95.6% over the same time period for last year.  His Average Contract value has increased 36.7%, from $11,224 to $15,342.  He is our most profitable salesperson with a Gross Profit Margin of 70.36%. Jimmy has a closing ratio of 53.3%, a remarkable accomplishment given that we are consistently two times higher than our competition because we price our jobs to achieve a minimum Gross Profit margin of 64%.

Jimmy is a consistent, extremely profitable, and reliable sales performer.  He deserves to be CCN Salesman of the Year.
