She is pleasant to work with and a great representative of Rosewood Painting.

Suzanne Carney, Maggio Roofing

Nominated by Scott Siegal

Saying that Suzanne Carney deserves to be the Office Manager of the Year, is just a complete understatement.  Her complete commitment to our company and the individual employees is undeniable.  Suzanne oversees a staff of two other women who are new to the company this year.  In fact, Suzanne did the hiring for these employees.  This was essential as we were continuing to grow and had just switched over to a completely new Management Information System.  Unfortunately for her, I did this on January 1st, without telling her or her staff.  This switch caused so much trouble and aggravation among the staff that I was literally scared to go to the office some days!  However, being the dedicated manager that she is, Suzanne kept plugging away and helped tweak a system that now helps me run the business and make important decisions in a timely manner.

Suzanne handles all the financial aspects of the company.  From paying all of the bills, to running the financials, to making me “look good” (which frankly is a thankless job sometimes), Suzanne is truly the glue that helps keep things running smoothly.  In addition to all of the administrative work that she performs on a daily basis, Suzanne has been running the charity committee for our company.  Not only has this been a source of pride for everyone in our company, but she has helped many, many people, through her organizational efforts and her contributions.  This most important element to our company would not exist had it not been for Suzanne.
