Boot Camps
CCN offers various training programs or “boot camps” for all areas of a contracting business. These programs are designed to give intensive training to the contractor so that he/she will be able to come back to their business and “hit the ground running”.
The following training sessions are offered:
- Sales Boot Camp – Designed for experienced and rookie sales people, this boot camp trains contractors to sell jobs utilizing an educational process that empowers clients to make a decision to buy without high pressure sales tactics.
- Commercial Sales Boot Camp – designed for creating high margin private commercial accounts, this boot camp trains how to generate low cost high quality leads and make an effective presentation to the financial decision maker or buying party, not just drop off bids.
- Blue Collar Management Boot Camp – Design for foreman and production managers, this boot camp trains field personnel to take total responsibility of the project, handle any disputes or additional work orders, collect all payments and achieve 100% Client Satisfaction.
- Leadership Boot Camp – The focus of this class is about dealing with constant change, delivering results and achieving personal growth within a contracting business. Participants will understand the difference between leadership and management.
- Financial Business Planning Boot Camp – The objective of this boot camp is to leave with a fully structured foundation for your business that is based on sound financial management. The focus is on creating action plans (financial, marketing, HR, sales & production) to achieve results and a system to manage your progress.
- Office Management Boot Camp – this boot camp is for office managers and staff. Course work will cover all areas of running an efficient and effective office, including management of time, space, leads, finances and people.
- Sales Manager Boot Camp – this boot camp is for sales managers and owners who perform this job. Course work will cover all areas of running a successful sales organization, including how to hire, train, and manage a sales force.
- Lead Generation Boot Camp- our newest boot camp, lead generation boot camp is the first to cover the marketing of a contracting company. Here you will learn off-line and on-line techniques to effectively generate leads for your business. You will learn how to implement cost effective strategies into your business to bring your lead cost down while raising your revenues.
- Skill builders – Sales, production, and administration skill builders are workshops offered for each department of the organization. These workshops are similar to our boot camps, except they are only two days and focus on a specific area within a discipline. For example, we have sales skill builders that focus on “closing the sale” only. During these workshops we work on that one area of the presentation. These workshops are for experienced personnel only.
Contractor Training Conferences
A contracting business sits on top of a three-legged stool. There is one leg for Sales, one leg for Production, and one leg for Administration. The supports that hold the leg together, so the stool doesn’t fall apart, are called Management. With most contracting companies one leg is stronger than the others, creating a wobbly stool which negatively impacts profits, and in many cases, business failure. Contractor business failure is one of the greatest in the USA.
CCN provides proven professional training in all areas at quarterly training conferences. Break-out sessions focused on different parts of the stool are offered, in addition to, MasterMinds for each of the trades.
