Build a Better Company. Build Better Profits. Build a Better Life.
Certified Contractors Network is the working community for home improvement contractors who want to run a more profitable business and live a better life. Here is what CCN is, what we do, and who we are for in 2026.
Contractors Network
What CCN Is in 2026

What is CCN?

CCN is Certified Contractors Network. It is a national community of established home improvement contractors who run residential roofing, siding, windows, and remodeling businesses. Our promise to members is the same one on our front door. Build a better company. Build better profits. Build a better life.

Owners come to CCN for three reasons. They want to learn how to run a more profitable contracting business. They want coaching through the parts that are hard. They want to be in a room with other owners who are not their competitors and who actually do this work for a living.

That is the whole idea. Contractors helping contractors. Richard Kaller started CCN on that idea more than 25 years ago, and the founding idea has not changed. What has changed is how we deliver on it.

How CCN is different from a trade association

CCN is not a trade association. We do not lobby. We do not certify product knowledge. We do not represent the industry to government or to the press.

CCN is also not a franchise. Members keep their own names, their own brands, their own pricing, their own territories. There are no royalties, no shared customer database, no corporate-controlled marketing.

CCN is a paid working community. You join because the training, the tools, the peer groups, and the financing partnerships make you more money than they cost. If they do not, you leave. That is the deal, and it is the simplest way to understand the difference.

Training that covers every part of a contracting business

Most training organizations in this industry teach one thing. Sales, or marketing, or accounting. We touch every functional area, because a contracting business does not get better one department at a time. If your sales team gets sharper but your production team cannot deliver the work, you lose money faster. If your marketing brings in leads but your salespeople cannot close, you lose money on every lead. The whole company has to move together.

We run boot camps and training programs for every functional area.

Business Planning is usually where a new member starts. If your plan for the year is wrong, nothing else fixes it. We sit down with the numbers and build the year on paper before anybody goes and tries to sell something.

The Sales Boot Camp delivers the Primal Selling System for in-home sales reps. It is built around the kitchen table sit, the conversation where the homeowner actually makes the decision.

The Sales Management Boot Camp gives owners and sales managers the playbook for running a sales team. Hiring, ride-alongs, accountability, compensation, the weekly meeting that actually moves numbers.

The Production Boot Camp is for project managers and field personnel. It teaches them how to run a job, sell additional work in the field, manage the people on the crew, and handle the disputes that come up on every project. Production is where the margin you sold on Monday either survives or disappears by Friday.

The Marketing Boot Camp is about lead generation. Where leads come from, what they cost, and which channels are worth the money in 2026.

The Financial Framework Boot Camp lays out the contractor-specific accounting, job costing, and cash flow fundamentals that most contractors never learned.

KPI Training teaches owners which numbers actually predict the next quarter, instead of just describing the last one.

The Operations Boot Camp brings the admin and back-office staff up to speed on contractor systems. The office runs the company, and most contractor offices are running on instinct.

Every one of these programs is available in person at our boot camp dates, and every one of them is supported by our online learning center, so members can put new hires through the material on day one instead of waiting six months for the next live event.

The tools members use every week

Underneath the training are four tools members use during the normal week.

The Primal Selling System is our sales methodology. New sales reps go through it in the boot camps. Veteran reps come back through it when they hit a slump or want to sharpen up. Our members close at rates the rest of the industry does not.

Biz Pro AI is our business planning tool. It runs cash flow analysis, budgeting, and operating reviews on a member's own numbers. Most contractors I know do not have a good handle on their P&L until the year is over. Biz Pro AI is designed to fix that during the year, not after it.

PracticePro AI is the role-play training environment for sales teams. Reps work through real objections, real price conversations, and real homeowner scenarios with a coach that does not get tired and does not have a bad day. It is the closest thing we have ever had to giving a brand new salesperson a hundred at-bats before their first real appointment.

SwiftCash is our consumer financing program. SwiftCash is the umbrella. Underneath it we run two promoted programs, one through Regions Bank and one through GreenSky. Regions Bank is a national bank. GreenSky is a fintech. Both serve the home improvement financing market differently, and we work with both so our members get the best choices for their customers. Both programs offer multiple same-as-cash options from 3 months to 2 years and low-interest loans with terms up to 20 years. Over 75 percent of home improvement projects above $2,500 get financed. If you do not have a clean financing offer to put in front of the homeowner, you lose the sale. SwiftCash gives our members two reliable options to make sure that does not happen.

Owners' Roundtables and Mastery

Underneath the training and the tools are the two things members tell me matter the most.

Owners' Roundtables are non-competitive peer groups. Eight or ten owners on a video call once a month, walking through each others' numbers, problems, hires, and wins. You sit in one of those for a year and your business looks different. The reason it works is the room. Nobody is trying to sell you anything, nobody is competing for your territory, and everyone in the room is running a real company with real problems.

The Mastery Program is a longer-form coaching track for owners who want to go deeper on one functional area at a time. Sales, production, finance, marketing, recruiting. Pick one, work it for a few months with a coach and a small cohort, and move on to the next. It is how you build a real management team instead of running everything yourself for the next twenty years.

Three conferences a year

CCN runs three conferences a year. Innovate is our winter event, held in a warm-weather location, and it doubles as a reward trip for owners and their teams. Celebrate is our spring event and hosts our annual awards. Elevate is our fall national event. Members come, they meet, they openly share ideas with each other, and they go home with a list of things to fix. The conferences are where the network turns from a roster into actual relationships.

What a new member's first 90 days look like

A new member's first ninety days start with an onboarding call that sets the table on what to use first. Most new members begin with Business Planning, an Owners' Roundtable assignment to a peer group that fits, and a boot camp seat for the highest-leverage role on their team. By day ninety, the member has put real numbers into Biz Pro AI, sat in at least two Roundtables, and run a sale or a job through the systems.

If after ninety days the member has done the work and decided CCN is not the right fit, we refund the dues. The 90-day money-back guarantee exists because if you put in ninety days of effort, you will know. We do not want a member who is just paying for a logo to put on their website.

Who CCN is for, and who it is not

CCN is for residential home improvement contractors with an owner who wants to build a real company and is willing to be coachable. Members run roofing, siding, window, and remodeling firms across the United States and Canada.

CCN is not the right fit for a one-truck startup that is still figuring out whether to incorporate. It is also not the right fit for an owner who has decided they already know everything they need to know. The contractors who get the most out of CCN are the ones who show up, do the work, and bring their team along.

We have two membership tiers, Platinum and Diamond. Platinum is the entry point. It starts at $700 a month and gives members the network, the peer groups, the technology platform, and full access to our online learning center. Members at the Platinum level can attend any of the in-person boot camps at member pricing. Diamond is the all-in tier. It costs more, and it includes every training program, every boot camp, every coaching engagement, and full access to the online learning center, with no per-event charges. The Diamond number we walk through in a conversation, because the value behind it needs a few minutes of context to land properly.

What has changed and what has not

What has changed is the toolset. Twenty years ago CCN was a network and a curriculum. Today we still run the network and the curriculum, but we also build software. Biz Pro AI and PracticePro AI did not exist three years ago. SwiftCash did not exist in its current form. We will keep adding tools because remodeling and home improvement spending keeps growing and the gap between the well-run companies and the rest of the field keeps getting wider.

What has not changed is the founding idea. Contractors helping contractors. The members are the value of CCN. The staff exists to organize and deliver. If we ever forget that, we will deserve to lose.

If you want to see whether CCN fits your company, the next step is the Investment and ROI page or a conversation with our team.
